Wow! This week was amazing!
Our investigator Pão was baptized on New Years Eve! And our recent convert David got to baptize him! It was such a special day! Pão was so happy. He has made so many changes in his life. He went from smoking 15-20 cigarettes a day and having crazy hair and facial hair to a completely new person! Every time we see him he´s just glowing. He has such a strong testimony and desire to do what´s right. On Sunday he bore his testimony in church. He´s amazing!

His friend Fóca is preparing for baptism also, he will be baptized in the next couple of weeks. He has also made so many changes. It´s amazing to see these people changing their lives. It makes me so grateful for the knowledge that I have of the amazing plan our father has for us and for our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
Last night we had a family night at Pão´s house and we had lots of great people there! I love the people here. They are like family. We started teach a family this past week that showed up to family night, it was great!
We talked about that as we look to Christ we can be healed, whether it´s being healed of pains, hurt, trials, sins, our past, etc Christ is the Master Healer. I invite all of you to look to Him this year. Each and every one of us needs Him. He lives and He loves each and everyone of us. He´s waiting with an out stretched arm to lift us and heal us from the bad of the world.
I love my mission and this oportunity my Heavenly Father has given me to serve among my brothers and sisters here in Cabo Verde.
