Tudo bom com um poco loco

Oi familia!

Wow.... This week was awesome!  And crazy!!

One of our investigators turned out to be a little bit of a psycho path.  We won´t be teaching him any more.  It was weird because he was progressing and working towards baptism for the past 3 weeks and then one day he just went crazy.  He thinks that everyone in the church including my comp and I are on cocaine.  He said he was going to come to church and point at everyone in the audience on drugs. We were nervous because he´s a man of his words...Butttt... Luckily he didn´t show up to church on Sunday!  So there´s the little bit of crazy for the week.

On a good note, we´re teaching this AWESOME guy named Kevin. It has been amazing to see how much the gospel can really change someones life and bring a light into their life that wasn´t there before.  Kevin was telling us this week about how he used to drink all the time and smoke about 20 cigarettes a day. But he realized that there was more to life and now he has truly become a different person and changing his life.  He has so much faith!  He will be baptized soon!

Something that has really been on my mind this week is about how this life is our time to progress and fulfill our incredible potential.  Heavenly Father is SO loving.  He has an amazing plan for each of our lives.  And when we truly upon Him and trust in him we will fulfill this plan.  We will fullfill our potential.  We will truly become who he has made us to become. Please read the talk His Grace Is Sufficient by Brad Wilcox.  And then read it again.  And again.  It will change your life

Through our Savior we truly can leave our mistakes behind, overcome our weaknesses, and become better people! Every day we should work on becoming better and progressing. I know that each and everyone of you have incredible worth and potential to do amazing things.  And all of you can understand and fulfill through our Savior Jesus Christ.  Come unto Him.  Let him change you! You will be amazed and humbled.

This week we were waiting for one of the members in the ward to meet up with us to go to a lesson.  He called and said he was on his way.  But we sat there for what seemed like a year.  We felt like we were wasting time.  But then this man walked up to us and was so excited to talk to us.  He said he had studied with the missionaries before and that he wanted to be baptized.  WHAT?!  He came to us.  And asked us to be baptized. It was amazing! Sometimes the Lord works in ways that didn´t plan for. I learned in that moment that when things don´t go the way we want we just have to be patient and ask what is in store.  Be patient.  Wait on the Lord.  He prepares a way for His work to come to pass.

I love it here!  I feel so grateful to have this opportunity!

Lots of love,  ,Sister Frongner (or Sister Frozen as a lot of people say.  My last name is hard to pronounce.  But everyone knows about the movie Frozen... Sooo Sister Frozen it is)
