Birthdays!

Oi!!! Minha familia e amigos!

Thank you for all of the birthday wishes!!  This week was full of birthdays!! Sister Dorgan had her birthday on Friday and mine on Sunday!  I had a great birthday, Sister Dorgan made orange rolls MMMMMmmmmm....  So good!  Haha and I was sung to in Portuguese at least 7 times. I think I finally have the birthday song memorized ;)

This week was awesome!! Our investigator Simão was baptized on Saturday!  He´s 13 years old and a funny kid.  We got to the baptism and one of the first things he said was ok, where is the pool?   He´s awesome, he´s got a strong testimony. He even got up in sacrament meeting and bore his testimony yesterday!

The young mens leader in our ward is awesome, he´s doing so much missionary work!  He brought 6 investigators to Simão´s baptism and he treats them all like their father.  And what´s amazing is that the young mens leader is a recent convert himself!   After the baptism one of the boys leaned over to us and asked if he´d have to wait a long time to be baptized.  Member missionary work works miracles!

One thing that I´ve come to realize is that it really doesn´t matter who you were or what you did but who you are becoming.  The grace and mercy of our Savior is real.  He has already suffered for all.  Now it´s our choice to accept the amazing opportunity we have to get up and try again.

Por meio de nosso Salvador Jesus Cristo nos realmente podemos tornar pessoas differente, melhor, e mais como ele. Eu estou tão grato por esta experiencia!  Eu amo ao povo, minha companheira, e o Senhor.

Thank you for all the support!

Much love,
Sister Frongner
